Personal Job Coach vs Reztune: CV Tailoring Alone or the Full Application Toolkit?
Reztune and Personal Job Coach start from the same problem: one CV sent to every job gets ignored. Both rewrite your CV for each posting, and both add a cover letter and an application tracker. The gap is in what comes after the CV, and in what each free plan lets you try before you pay.
| Feature | Reztune | Personal Job Coach |

What Reztune Does
Reztune is an AI CV tailoring tool. You upload a CV once, paste a job description, and it rewrites your summary, bullets and skills for that role, shows what changed, and scores the match by listing the requirements you meet, partly meet or miss. Each match comes with a cover letter, every job lands in an automatic tracker, and the PDFs are built to be read cleanly by ATS software. Its site says it only reworks what is already in your CV and never adds experience you don't have, which is the rule we hold ourselves to as well.
What Each Free Plan Covers
Reztune's free plan rewrites your CV for three real jobs, tracks your applications and includes the CV builder, with no card needed. That is a good way to see whether you like the rewriting.
Ours starts earlier and goes wider on a single job. Career Strategy (a coaching conversation that produces your base CV, your pitch and your recommended roles), the CV Score and the full toolkit for your first application are free to use with no card: tailored CV, cover letter, gap analysis, company briefing and mock interview. The cover letter downloads free, and the tailored CV file is a €4.99 one-off, or included in the subscription.
Price and Plans
Reztune's Premium plan is monthly, starts with a paid 7-day trial, and caps tailoring at 30 CVs a month once the trial ends (unused credits carry over). It also sells lifetime access with 10 tailoring credits to start, which we don't offer. Its UK page shows prices in dollars, and its monthly plan costs more than our subscription. Ours is €19.99 a month from your second job, with no cap on how many applications you make in the month, and you can cancel any time, with 14 days to withdraw after subscribing.
Interview Practice and Company Research
Reztune's home page and plan list don't mention interview practice or company research. A 2025 post on its blog says the platform generates likely interview questions from the job description, so check whether that is part of your plan before you count on it. Our mock interview runs in audio or text, with an AI interviewer playing the hiring manager for that role and company, and the debrief scores communication, STAR examples, company knowledge and role fit. The company briefing feeds into it, so the questions can refer to the employer's actual news and challenges.
Which One to Use
If a sharp CV and cover letter for each job is all you need, and a lifetime option appeals to you, Reztune is a focused tool built for that. If you also want interview practice and company research tied to the same application, and you'd like to run the whole routine on a real job before paying, that's what our free first application is for.
